Iddarammayilatho - Telugu Movie Review

The combination of Allu Arjun and Poori Jagannath (that too with two attractive girls) and the massive success of this movies teaser all did boost up the expectations for Iddarammayilatho. I heard that the movie did have a very good opening in the Chennai city.

The plot is the very typical telugu movie revenge story. Catherine Tresa goes abroad for studies and there she meets Allu Arujun who runs a small music band and comes to know about his love episode with Amala Paul. The rest of the plot narrates why Allu Arjun lives alone, why he kills few people and what had happened to his love. First half of the movie is good. The second half could have been much better.

The biggest attraction of the movie is Allu Arjun. This guy seemed to have understood what the audience expect from him excels in them throughout the movie. His high energy performance in actions and dances are only getting better and better in each movie. The action scenes before the interval block is really awesomatic.

Nothing much remarkable about Amala Paul. The other girl Catherine Tresa looks very glamorous with all her exposures but she has to work a lot more on her acting and especially the lip sync for telugu dialogues. Comedy in the movie is a sure letdown.

Camera works by Amol Rathod is super - especially the action scenes and the foreign locations. Music by DSP is ok kind of thing. Didn't impress much. Poori Jagannath has done what he is good at - a good action movie. The screenplay could have been much better.

Iddarammayilatho is watchable once for Allu Arjun and of-course for Catherine Tresa's glamour :-)
